I love this. I am sitting in the hotel lobby waiting to use their computer. I sit there for about 20 minutes while they guy is using it. I try not to be too obnoxious, so I turn around sometimes and glance to see if he's still working on it. At some point he asks me whether I am waiting for the computer. I nod yes and he ... proceeds to use the computer for another 15 minutes! And when he's done with it it doesn't even tell me he's done, he just walks over to a table with his stuff and starts going through it and I only find out that he's done when I ask him. As my good friend
fomina would say: Hideous!
In other news, the business trip turned out to be a total bust. There was some sort of a miscommunication and it turns out that they expected us here on Tuesday, while we thought that we were expected on Wednesday. Well, the people who know anything about this system we're buying are either gone on vacation or a business trip for the rest of the week, and the only time they were available was on Tuesday. So 1) we did not learn much today, 2) they did not need both of us here, and 3)we did not need to be here for 2 days. Oh well, at least we got to travel on company money... 7 hours on a plane. For nothing. Disguisting!
