cool! nice comment on the radio :) I think being an American involves keeping pieces of your own culture and values. I think that is the beauty of America that it gave home to so many people from so many different cultures who continue living next to one another, working w/ one another, playing sports w/ one another, sharing arts etc... yet holding onto their cultural roots.
I truly, don't like popular American culture as it is portrayed on TV or magazines and I think it is better to have deeper roots from your culture than participating in American "toddlers in tiara's" show or similar...
